Financial markets have been rocked by developments in Ukraine and we’re seeing large falls on the major Asia Pacific indices where Thursday’s session is already underway.

The Nikkei in Tokyo has dropped 1.9%, Seoul is down 2.3% and the ASX in Sydney has plunged 3%. The Hang Seng has dropped 2.82%. Bitcoin has dropped another 5.4% as riskier assets took a pounding in the wake of reports of explosions across Ukraine and Vladimir Putin’s bellicose address.

But safe havens such as gold, the US dollar and a range of commodities including nickel, and wheat have all spiked upwards.

VERY sad day when a little innocent child loses hope like that.
With Putin threatening the West with "consequences like you have never seen before" if they get involved its clear the threat of nuclear war has never been so real since the Cuban Missile crisis of the early 1960's. That and 6000+ cases today. Very somber day and you were right, even though SUM posted a stellar result they went down which is all the proof you need that no company and no investor is immune to this market downturn which is increasingly looking like a savage bear market.

There are no sanctions that Biden can do that will have any effect on Putin. He will achieve all he sets out to do.

Puller Putin has just signed a deal to supply 40 million ton of coal to India.
Will be interesting to see if they back out.

Very scary times for Ukraine and Europe.
