Ol Vlad is like the person who picks fights in bars. There is no doubt he is a tenacious scrapper.
This time unfortunately his victim his getting in a few punches of his own and the guys friends in the next booth he thought were girlymen are starting to limber up.
If things don't go his way he can pull out a knife, The only trouble is there are more than one of them and when he goes down he is going to get a serious kicking. There wont be a good outcome for the rotund chap with a mustache who seems to be his sidekick either.

Foreign Affairs popped up a piece from the archives the other day. Zbigniew Brzezinski (sp?), the Cold War, and the question "What might be a reasonable but also substantive definition of a Western or American victory? Or, alternatively, what might a communist or Soviet victory look like?"
It's a good question. Is the status quo ante a valid option any more?
Hopefully there are a few people thinking similar thoughts about Russia, about Ukraine, about the West. . .

Article in Fox News today from Michael Shellenberger about the Wests love affair with Greta Thumberg and how it empowered Putin .
While the West was worried about carbon footprints Putin was pumping more oil and China was building more coal powered power stations.
If i knew how to copy and paste i would.

Great IT service, but to be frank - I think that the lack of IT skills might be in this context not a bigger problem then it used to be for the dinosaurs before they got extinct;
While it is true that Putin did set the Russian money on last centuries technologies, this is exactly his problem and he is now cornered and fighting for his (not just political) life. Lets just hope that this madman is not taking too many others with him into the abyss before he goes.
And using the Lying Fox as reference - LOL, but at least seem the dinosaurs of today be able to read, even if they have a hard time in comprehending.

Russia in Swedish airspace
Sweden says four Russian fighter jets violated its airspace over the Baltic Sea.
The four aircraft, two SU-27 and two SU-24 fighters, flew briefly over Swedish airspace east of the island of Gotland, according to a statement from the Swedish Armed Forces.
"In light of the current situation we are very concerned about the incident,'' Swedish Air Force chief Carl-Johan Edstrom said. "This is unprofessional and irresponsible behavior from the Russian side."
Swedish fighter jets were scrambled and took photos of the Russian jets, the statement said.
"This shows that our readiness is good. We were in place to secure the territorial integrity and Swedish borders," Edstrom said. "We have total control of the situation."
