    Wonder just how deep the dirty linen goes across china property markets ... elements of money go rounds.

    still the 300 odd billion of debt is backed by actual bricks and steel.

    but how many down stream creditors and investors are effected and who hold the bonds...

    Typical misinformation.

    I checked this info in the German media - and the clickbait seems to be 1-to-1 translated from Bild (which is the German equivalent to the US Fox news - stupid dumb right wing populist lies;

    More trustworthy reports (like e.g. MDR) say that EnViaM increased their prices by roughly 9%, however due to a reduction of government duties most consumers will pay less.

    They say as well that consumers need to expect gas prices to rise later in the year ... but no percentage given (and relevant for all gas consumers).

    https://www.mdr.de/nachrichten/deuts...krieg-100.html

    "Der ostdeutsche Energieversorger EnviaM erhöht zum 1. Juni den Strompreis für rund 700.000 Kunden. Der Preis steigt um knapp 9 Prozent auf 32,21 Cent je Kilowattstunde (brutto), wie das Unternehmen mit Sitz in Chemnitz mitteilte – für Privat- und Gewerbekunden in der Grundversorgung in Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Thüringen und Brandenburg. Nicht betroffen sind demnach vorerst etwa 400.000 Kunden mit langfristigen Tarifen."

    You need to read the stuff and understand the context before you use it to support your message.

    Bloomberg just talks about (so far undefined) energy price rises to expect.

    No word about the 500% click bait you distributed.

    I don't think you need to be a rocket scientist to predict significant energy price rises given that gas bills in Germany are calculated only once a year (based on past consumption) ... and sure, gas (as well as oil prices) went up - and after the next annual billing event the price rise will hit as well the German consumer.

    Just in case you didn't notice - gas and petrol in NZ (and most other places of the world) is already much higher now. Shock and horror, lets create some more click bait, shall we?

    The only newsworthy item might have been that most German gas consumer are billed only annually ... and therefore still have to look forward to the price rises others already endured.

    Clearly - in Europe are summer holidays - its the silly season for news media and therefore they regurgitate whatever everybody knows already - or in the case of Bild, whatever they can make up (and that's a lot).
