And the missiles and shelling doesnt stop and wont until the west provides the means to stop it and soon.

The west really has to get a move on and the US is the only one with the manufacturing muscle to do it.

Missile defence is going to be forefront in the coming years.

walk about interviewer that managed to get video out of russia showed a lot of younger russian's thinking that they are not being told the truth.

depends on how the mind of the individual treats information sources.

Do we all believe the current NZ government is transparent as they tell us?

    Mortgage Crisis

China’s banks face mortgage losses of $350 billion in a worst-case scenario as confidence plunges in the nation’s property market and authorities struggle to contain deepening turmoil. A spiraling crisis of stalled projects has dented the confidence of hundreds of thousands of homebuyers, triggering a mortgage boycott across more than 90 cities. Get the full story here. Meanwhile China’s factory activity unexpectedly contracted in July, reversing earlier economic momentum as sporadic Covid outbreaks weigh on the recovery, and real estate giant China Evergrande — the world’s most indebted developer — failed to deliver a “preliminary restructuring plan” it had promised by the end of July.

Well yes, however every time after the big stand down once every seculum or so, after many people have died and after the winners counted their blessings as well, it is the habit of the winners to change the world order.

They did this last time in the conference of Yalta (a city on the Krim - what irony!) in 1945 in preparation for the end of WW2 ... and created the current world order where the worst crooks like Putin or Xi are able to control or at least stall the United Nations.

I am sure they will create a new world order after the retirement of the warlord and murderer Putin. Just not sure whether he will retire in the blast of a nuclear explosion, as a guest of state in North Korea or hanging under some Wolga bridge. I honestly hope that he will follow the glorious example of Mussolini (one of the WW2 crooks) - that's what he deserves.

Anyway - pretty sure Russia will not keep its Veto "rights". Not sure yet about China, I recon this depends on whether they are able to educate or get rid of their resident crook before it is too late.
