Quite sad state the once Grand Old Party is in these days. The Republican Party used to be the place for honest and decent people with a conservative political view. Not any more. These days they are the go to place for crooks, liars and idiots ... and trumped up conspircay theories without any factual backing are enough to win the prime position for a candidate.

Just hope that the good people of Wyoming still have a decent majority ... wouldn't it be refreshing to see the Republican candidate fail?

Yes BP - I remember the Republican Party of old too. They used to possess a dignified sense of integrity, something to believe in if you were of that persuasion. How did they come to this? What is this allure of Trumpism ? How were their values so totally corrupted - surely not only by power - then by what exactly?

I don't pretend to understand it. In my last visit to the US in 2018, admittently I didn't converse much with Trumpists, trying to stay safe mostly while we travelled in a campervan. Not the America I had known, at least politically...
