    Germany is looking down the barrel of a huge recession and really is the germany public going to swallow the pain.

    What will the results of the next round of election bring to europe. The GFC kicked of popular movements in many country's as your average person lost fath in the higher educated classes to lead them to the promised land...

    This crisis in germany looks very very bad.... a collapse of the economy - well a huge challenge anyway.

    Hmm ... pretty bleak article. Not quite what I hear from my other German sources, maybe they need to read the English version of the Spiegel to find out how bad things are for them ; Sure - the winter may or may not be somewhat difficult, but so far it clearly doesn't look like the end of the world.

    And yes, the Germans I hear from still buy toilet paper and go on holidays ;
