I wonder if Kiwisaver investors will become surprised to learn they have invested in bonds issued by Chinese real estate developers?

PS: This is only speculation on my part, however seeing as investors found they had investments in banks in Iceland during the last crash it is not beyond the bounds of reason.

I thought this too till I had a look on Google maps. They share a border across some of the most inaccessible terrain you will ever see. Beautiful scenery but there will never be a road or a pipeline through it.

Getting nuclear powered submarines, not nuclear weapon armed submarines.

Guess China can still fire one of their nuclear tipped ICBM on Sydney and call US & UK bluff?

Given the state of the US and U.K. Reactor construction environments and order books, I'd expect the first Australian nuclear submarine to launch about 2050.

Impressive press release though, with good punctuation.

Aussies have reneged on a deal with a French company, SMH reports it will cost the taxpayer billions in sunk cost and compensation. Scotty the American poodle.
