Indeed - but it could be worse if the bulk of your portfolio was tied up in Russian stocks
now not trading - probably worth fractions of a cent in the dollar at best - that is if anyone
is interested in taking them off your hands .. and then being paid is problematic, if not
    near on impossible ..

My thoughts are with the people of Ukraine..

Forget the price of petrol! Diesel is over $2/L!! Also not enjoying lingering at the bottom of the table

Unless they're listed on another market. Might make a fortune investing in Russian or Ukrainian markets if you can time Russia accepting military defeat and the play the very, very long game waiting for sanctions to be lifted. That should probably be a seperate thread though.

Have an EV, so no petrol, but did notice the price of KitKats has increased. It all started to go downhill when they switched from paper and foil packaging in truth. I might write to the commerce commission and demand a public enquiry into the matter.

Dont know about that Tomtom - on the Russian stocks

High inflation there, high interest rates, the poor serfs on the street headed towards poverty
the economy in tatters with limited support mechanisms - sounds to me like something
to steer clear of & likely to take decades to start coming right, assuming it doesn't implode
first - even if Putin backs down or gets taken out.

If RU get held to account for War Reparations then things could look worse still

Can't see RU listings being allowed anytime soon on other markets for some time,
so unless there is remote possibility of other coverage - it looks fairly terminal

I'll have this weekends update a bit late. I moved and unsurprisingly no power/internet yet.
