So the now sacked Auckland Council CEO went on a spending spree after Brown was elected and recruited 211 staff on salaries above $150k in the 12 months from October 2022 to October 2023. Now wonder this country is as stuffed as it is with bureaucrats through local and central Government being accustomed to doing whatever they want, totally ignoring their elected bosses and take no responsibility for their actions. Good that Brown had him sacked. Good riddance.
Hopefully we are about to see many sackings of such idiots from central government departments.
