A former Mayoral Brown's forgotten antics faded into past history and up pops someone who doesn't want to be forgotten amidst the airing of the Wellington Mayoral Star's extensive laundry out in full view of all:

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/entertain...G4IVPLTUM3VGA/

Princess of Chaos: Bevan Chuang, former lover of Len Brown, talks to Steve Braunias

With the TV dramatisation of her life story nominated in five categories at this week’s NZ TV Awards, Steve Braunias profiles Bevan Chuang, the ex-lover of former Auckland mayor Len Brown.
Lenny Babe's former Lover .. who could forget that ? .. in the days before Labour Biff-out Goofey wound up with the
Mayoral chain & robes .. and a bit of more intimate attention from the famous Bevan for the then Mayor Brown

With all the fluff & controversy elsewhere & in earlier times, Wayne's rule risks becoming dull, not so daring, intriguing and devoid of controversial pieces .. going down in Auckland Mayoral history .. no overly dramatic public performances, no Lovers hanging from the outside window hinges of the Mayoral suite after a rapid retreat

No really recent noticeable spats, naughty words, biting reporters or anyone close from the current Brown's Mayoral world, after getting to a right ripping start .. hope all's well in the Mayoral Suite .. Them long suffering Aucklanders might be a bit disappointed, if the current Brown reign loses steam midstream

Hopefully the captive ratepayers are seeing enhanced value for their spiking rates, even if the Media trying to seek out something more sensationally newsworthy are left out in the cold on a meagre diet of wet & boring Auck City Council Media Pass tickets ..

Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown sends warning to Government over budget rules

Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown has launched a broadside at the new Government, warning “they won’t last” if they continue to crush Auckland with “nonsense” rules and regulations.

Speaking to Newstalk ZB’s Mike Hosking this morning, Brown said if the central government “really p*** me off, they won’t last”.

The comments come after the city’s new 10-year budget process kicked off at an all-day budget committee meeting at the Auckland Town Hall.

Brown spoke out about his continued frustration with the Government’s “foisted” consultation on the budget plans.

Gez Wayne - so now a Browned Off Auckland Mayor want to control the country ?

Wayne Brown rejects plan for second Waitematā harbour tunnel crossing

Auckland Council’s Transport and Infrastructure Committee has decided not to support the current $56 billion plan for a secondary harbour crossing.

During today’s meeting the council’s Principal Transport Advisor Elise Webster highlighted problems with the draft business case for the Waitematā Harbour Connections project, which is due to be presented to the NZTA Waka Kotahi board in February next year.

The “preferred option” listed in the Indicative Business Case involved two underwater tunnels, one for traffic and one for light rail, to run alongside the Harbour Bridge.

“Staff have identified a number of issues... these relate, in particular, to the affordability and value for money issue,” Webster said.

“At $56b it is equivalent to more than double the government’s total 10-year investment in Auckland’s transport system.”

Webster asked members of the committee to clearly oppose the plan.

“Council staff are recommending that the committee does not support the recommended option,” she said.

Mayor Wayne Brown immediately accepted Webster’s advice.

The Waka of Transport Incompetence & Vast Pot Hole Empire cops a drop kick from Brown

Only $56 Bills - folks - but probably more like 3 or 4 times that by completion time

Wonder if the mysterious money printer for this has been put of action ? or perhaps just another Grandiose Labour BS feel-good project on the way to be given it's final rites ?

Auckland mayor Wayne Brown claims Takapuna-Milford property owners ‘blackmailers’ over coastal walk

Wayne -- they do own it after all & it has been used as thoroughfare, even though privately owned.

No need to go all "Raving Prize Local Body Assh*le" over this

Do the right thing & everyone will be happier

    Not difficult is it ?

Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown tips clash with Transport Minister Simeon Brown after regional fuel tax axeing

Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown is forecasting “a bit of argy-bargy” with Transport Minister Simeon Brown after the scrapping of Auckland’s regional fuel tax.

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and National MP Brown made the announcement in Parnell this afternoon, saying the tax was not being used to fund projects that met the Government’s and mayor Brown’s transport priorities.

“Since July 1, 2018, Aucklanders have faced an additional 11.5 cents per litre tax on fuel, over and above what the rest of the country pays, increasing the cost of living at a time when they can least afford it. Ending this tax is one way to reduce the price of fuel and ease some of the financial pressure facing households in our largest city,” he said.

Looks like someone's a bit Browned off about having to devise alternative ways of swiping it to meet a gap out of the pockets of them wealthy Aucklanders

Meola Rd closure extended by Auckland Transport for three more months

A busy road linking the suburbs of Westmere and Point Chevalier will remain closed until the end of April, Auckland Transport (AT) told residents on Wednesday.

AT closed Meola Road on December 15 to coincide with the lowest traffic volumes and assured residents it would be reopened no later than today when school and city-bound traffic is back in full swing.

The continued closure was causing huge issues on side streets, with one resident describing it as a “s**t show”.

“It’s utter chaos along Kiwi Rd and the side streets to get on to Great North Rd. Buses can’t pass, and a lot of swearing motorists trying to pull U-ies. I’m not sure where they can go,” the resident said.

Sounds like the locals are really getting Browned Off with the AT Roading Circus bestowed on them
