Purpose-built cabin stolen from Hamilton house in well-organised robbery
A Hamilton woman was “gutted” to find thieves had used a crane to steal the cabin at her rental property.
Natasha Middleton had the cabin purpose built to give their future renters more options – making it more affordable and helping to cover increasing landlord costs.
Tradies had been coming and going from the vacant house on Shakespeare Ave in Enderley, working on extensive renovations, and Middleton had popped over to see the progress on Sunday.
The small red cabin with black aluminium joinery, double-glazed windows and a little deck was gone.

4 police ministers in 1 year and it is bloody clear just how disastrously law & order has broken down out there.
Remember Ginny Andersen’s boast that it is safer out there because there are more police numbers?
Well, someone better tell this new father who has been burgled thrice in 2 days and has received nothing but the runaround from the police.
WTF is happening with our police force????? A force we used to be so proud of and who used to be so highly regarded.

When Singh turned up at Glen Innes Police Station on Tuesday afternoon, he told the detective that met him he had already provided a statement over a week ago.
“That seemed to be new news to the officer – he even admitted that first statement could have been used to support getting a search warrant for the addresses I provided to them.

Driver of stolen car crashes head on into Hamilton bus
Police are investigating a crash involving a stolen car and a bus in Hamilton.
The incident happened around 8.44pm on Tuesday, after police saw a stolen vehicle driving dangerously.
They deployed spikes on Pembroke and Ruakiwi Road, a police spokesperson said in a statement.
“The vehicle attempted to manoeuvre around the spikes, but in doing so crashed into an oncoming bus. Two of the three occupants in the stolen vehicle received minor and moderate injuries.”
These little sh*theads have no respect for anyone else, including Police or the Law, so why should Authorities
and the Law have any respect for them ?

‘Despicable behaviour’: Thieves use crane to steal 205-year-old Crimean War cannon from Auckland waterfront
A 205-year-old decommissioned war cannon has been stolen from Auckland’s waterfront by thieves using a crane to lift it onto a truck.
The Crimean War weapon, which has been in Auckland for 163 years and situated at Ōkahu Bay for 71 years, was gifted to New Zealand in the mid-1800s.
CCTV footage shows the cannon being uplifted by a crane at 3.15am on June 1 onto a blue flatbed truck while in storage from Ōrākei Marina near Ōkahu Bay.

Supermarket crime: Pak’nSave staff fitted with bodycams to ‘prevent crime and disorderly behaviour’
Some supermarket workers are wearing body cameras in the fight against the “sad reality” of rising crime.
The technology - used by prison officers and sometimes hospital staff - is being employed by at least one Pak’nSave to deter shoplifters and “manage disorderly behaviour”.
Other supermarkets are considering the move as crime shapes as a major election issue - but bodycams are sparking concerns from privacy watchdogs.
Pak’nSave in Tauranga has started using the technology, with staff being fitted with front-facing cameras “in addition to other security technologies”. A sign at the door of the Cameron Rd store advises customers staff are using the high-tech equipment.
The body-worn cameras are “for the purposes of preventing crime and managing disorderly behaviour”, the sign states.
Emma Wooster, spokeswoman for Foodstuffs, which owns Pak’nSave as well as New World supermarkets, said it was “a sad reality that retail crime is on the rise”.
Some interesting comments:
Supermarket workers wearing body cams and fortification of dairys and liquor stores all down to police not doing their job
hanks labour, thanks greens, thanks peters for putting them there,if fact peters more so,the tough on crime guru
Look at the standard of our current Police Minister who tells us we should feel safer and the woke Police Commissioner.
Is it any wonder that offenders are feeling more and more emboldened.
The primary responsibility of a government is to protect the safety and wellbeing of its citizens. Labour is failing miserably.
Latest poll two thirds of people say they feel less safe than they were 5 years ago.
Thanks Coster , thanks Labour and thanks to the police minister who arrogantly dismisses those 66% of people by saying crime is down its the reporting of crime which is up. Give us a break, resign now Coster and Andersen.
Good luck in October - Clown Face, Robbo, Ginny & mates on this and multitude of other issues
