Hughes case: Naked man seen in street
26 Mar, 2011
Labour MP Darren Hughes resigned from Parliament yesterday as witness reports emerged of a distressed, naked man on the street near Mr Hughes' Wellington home on the night a youth complained to police about an incident of a sexual nature.
Mr Goff's handling of the issue has led to criticism of his leadership, and some in Labour have questioned whether Mr Hughes was being protected, to the increasing detriment of his party, because he was close to deputy leader Annette King, in whose house he boarded.
More bully & cover-up ?

Q : How do you tell when Ardern & Labour are lying?
A : When she opens her mouth ad shows her pearly whites.
https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/political...-at-parliament
"She (Ardern) said Parliament, like any other workplace, must be free from bullying and that expectation applies to everyone, including MPs"
From what she has observed, she had seen no evidence of "what's been framed as bullying" but rather, constructive long-term attempts to find a solution.
She said she had never worked with a better group of people, and while no one could claim perfection she was confident Sharma's concerns did not reflect a wider issue at Parliament.

More on Ardern attempting to cover up and being shady about bullying in the Labour caucus (refer below).
Now we know why she did not want any independent investigation of bullying in her government.
The truth always come out in the end.

"Obviously, what’s happened in Nelson is a very serious situation, but to imply that we shouldn't be asking you about very serious accusations about your office on the basis that there's been a tragedy in Nelson I think most people would find a little shady," he fired back.
"No, no, no. That wasn't a point about you. If I may, you misunderstand," Ms Ardern interjected.
"My point was, to an MP to not take up the opportunity to go into mediation. That's where we should be dealing with these issues."

The real Slim Shady stood up right there.
Never mind, be kind and all will be well. You too can end up with Harvard perks. Just cosy up to the club and Blackrock.

More bullying allegations about another Labour MP, Shanan Halbert.
And like all the bullying complaints, denied & swept under the carpet by Ardern, Hipkins and this deceitful & totally untrustworthy Labour government.
So Dr Sharma further vindicated again.
https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/polit...employees.html
Halbert is Labour's Northcote MP and candidate. He's all smiles all the time, presenting positivity.
But a number of former staff members have approached Newshub with a different story. They say he's a bully.
Hipkins told Newshub "no concerns have been raised directly with me".
The staff members worked with Halbert in a range of roles. None wanted to appear on camera for fear of retribution. Newshub has agreed to protect their identities.
They told Newshub that Halbert was "manipulative", "scheming", "a narcissist" and that they live in fear of him.

I am starting to take all bullying allegations like this latest one with sceptisicm. We are seeing far too often that such claims are brought to the fore when they are obviously timed to do maximum damage for the accused, often with disastrous and unfair consequences for them. The media is the worst bully in this regard.
In today's World, any robust discussion in the workplace is called bullying.
I am not saying people should get away with bullying but people are getting far too thin skinned and can not take any criticism or a robust debate of different views. A sad state of affairs, particularly when some people lose their jobs and reputations for what most of us would class as minor transgressions/mistakes while others that have years of bullying under their belts get promoted (think Trevor Mallard) !!
p.s. I have no idea about these latest allegations and ad not solely referring to them nor taking sides !
