YOGI,As i suspected you revert to name calling like a spoilt brat.
If you come on with a con like you are trying to pull expect to be examined. First up you tell me you wont take me on in our own market. Then you want to change the rules followed by petty name calling. I hope you realise your chances of scoring a quick buck on this side of the tasman are gone.

The middle ground is to choose jointly listed shares. You only need three of them.MacDunk you would be able to list them. One that Yogi has posted on is Cue Energy which is CUE.AX and CUEVA.NZ,

Congrats to you MacDunk for continuing to play the ball. Unlike Yogi, who has resorted to name calling for someone who dares question his wisdom.
Grow up Yogi. [:o)]

dm,
"If you come on with a con like you are trying to pull
expect to be examined."
scotty ... how would you know, if my work is a con,
especially as you have certainly never seen, leave
alone STUDIED any of the natural sciences ..... ?
..... like many self-appointed critics, you shout your
ignorance across the forums, even though you have
never seen the material in question.
-----
"First up you tell me you wont take me on in our own market.
Then you want to change the rules."
Where did i refuse you challenge on the ASX?
Just in case you have forgotten, here's
what was said, after you chose the ASX-listed
stocks .....
"Now that you have settled on the stocks let's
set some ground rules in place, keeping it simple.
We trade these 3 stocks, until the end of 2005,
using only fully paid common stock and only
on the long side ..... no options or derivatives.
Entries and exits to be posted here, IN ADVANCE."
-----
So, the offer remains, you choose the ASX-listed stocks
and we trade as per above ground rules ..... OK?
-----
"I hope you realise your chances of scoring a quick buck
on this side of the tasman are gone."
No need to scam anybody on this end, as my own
trading is consistent enough to sustain me for
many years into the future ..... my past two years
performance, in the ASX competition on this forum
has proved that.
..... a competition that requires enough skill to
analyze the stocks 12 months in advance and a
competition, that NONE of my critics here have
even TRIED to show their skills.
-----
So, this was your challenge, scotty .....
..... is it on or are you backing down, now?
happy days

Well I'm going to stand up for you against the medieval rabble Yogi.
I only have a cursory knowledge of Gann but know he is well respected. I was reading a while ago about a group of scientists in the USA who are making tremendous breakthroughs in the intellectually respected field of Forensic Astronomy. I think the essay was in WSJ. Anyways, a lot of historical matters are being proven by studying astrological patterns. Wasn't it Shakespeare who said "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."

Wonderful entertainment.
Yogi, in your recent posts you forgot your 'Smilies'. Any reason for that ???

Hi Capitalist,
Many thanks for your support.
It is good to get some input from somebody,
who is obviously widely read and whose reading
material goes a bit deeper, than star signs
and the comics strip on the next page,
in the NZ Herald ..... lol
-----
For the uninitiated, we should add that layman
consider astronomy/astrology to be the stuff
that they find in the newspaper, under star
signs.
Nothing is further from the truth ... in fact,
modern financial astrology has NO man-made
interpretations, being based on simple, sound
mathematical and geometric principles, that
have been around, as long as the planets
have existed.
..... and the best part is, NO man can ever
interfere or change those god-given principles.
Maths and geometry are two of the purest
natural sciences known to us, today.
Maybe, we just need to know how to use them
better in our daily lives, including our
trading ..... ?????
happy trading all

If you guys do want to do financial battle, perhaps you could arrive at some sort of compromise position, whereby you each nominate 3 stocks (or 5 or whatever), their fortunes are then tracked for a year, and the one to show the greatest percentage change is declared the winner.
In this way, you can use your own system, in your own market, the contest will be a simple measure of the performance of your own system.
1 Jan 2005 to 1 Jan 2006?
