YOGI, Nice to see you smiling again. I will send you a recent picture of the stars and moon from this side of the tasman. Do i wait for the full moon to come out at midnight,or any old time is good enough?. This will enable you to forecast the NZ stock market for all to see. To be serious if you want any credability do as i do let it be known what you buy and sell when you do it. I keep all my forecasts in the NZ market, look them up and give me heaps if i get it wrong. Long term holds POT TPW PGG, plus i trade one quarter of my portfolio. My next trade will be made in the middle of jan i will buy NOG which will trend up.
Show me a few winners before you tell us how good you are .

My credibility is quite intact, just see
my own posts, where extensive analysis
has been done and entry posted in advance.

FGL is a good current example:

    http://www.sharetrader.co.nz/topic.a...earchTerms=FGL

..... and there's MANY others, as well ... but,
you may need to look beyond your own posts,
    to find them.

    ---

Let's just enter the ASX 2005 competition and
compete over the whole year ..... that should
not be difficult for gun trader like yourself,
as you can still use dual-listed stocks ..... yes ???

That way, we can all monitor it easily and a
clear-cut result will be had, at the end of a
    trading year ..... yes??

Besides, there may well be other traders on
this forum, that show that they can outgun
you, too ..... and surely they deserve a
chance to show their skills, as well ... yes???

    March equinox 2005 .. and 06-08 May 2005 .....

    Hi folks,

Two key dates for your astrotrading diary:

    20-24 March 2005 = March equinox

    06-09 May 2005 - actual cycle - Sunday 08 May 2005

Just a brief comment, about the equinoxes and
solstices or seasonal changes ..... we have a
great opportunity on the March equinox this year,
to observe market reactions to multiple astroevents.

    From 20032005-23032005, we will see:

    2 lunar ingresses

    3 planetary ingresses

1 planet stationed to go direct

1 planet stationed to go retrograde.

23 March 2005 will also be 5 years from
market highs, in year 2000 and 2 years
from the invasion of Iraq, in 2003.

Markets may be flat during this period,
but March equinox 05 will likely be a
significant marker, for the start of
    subsequent moves in many markets.

After that, 06-09 May 2005 will also
be worthy of attention - ie ... 45 days on.

..... at this time, in May 2005, we may
expect some resolution to issues raised
by the 9112001 attack on US soil .....
capture of Bin Laden himself, perhaps?

    ======

A few particular stocks, that will likely
see a change in trend, around the equinox:

    BHP ... 20032005 - shooting for 18.39 by then.

    FCL ... 24032005

    GTP and TIM ... 22032005

    =====

    ..... and here's a date for 2006, as well ... 07112006,
    more later .....

    =====

    happy days

    Yogi

My strategy is rather different to yours

It is based on research , research , research

But it is just as well that we all perceive things differently --- this is the basis of what makes markets

    Best of luck to you

WHITEHERON, In fairness to YOGI he did win the AUS side of the share picking competition last year. He comes up and says in advance what he thinks will happen which takes a bit of guts. Other than that i think its all CRAP. macdunk

I am afraid that people who follow the stars and I must live on different planets

It is a free world ( as far as thoughts are concerned anyway ) and everyone is entitled to their own personal opinions
Thank goodness that we all think differently and percieve the same things in a different way , that is what makes life ( and the markets / investing ) interesting
What a hellish boring world it would be if we all thought the same way --- perish the thought

As for Yogi and the ASX stock picking contest , first last year and last for Jan 05 --- but there are still plenty of movements to happen in the heavens before the end of the year and anything is possible I guess !

As for me , I will stick with my methods which have served me well

I perceived Yogi as female , but it looks as though I got that wrong ; another example of how we perceive things
    Time is the great revealer
