Default USD is still on the rise

Anyone has any theory why this is? I'm still holding some USD and eager to cash it to NZD, but USD is still on the rise.

The deleveraging taking place, plus hedge fund redemptions creates demand for dollars, as they are forced to liquidate everything and anything and return the cash home

Also, the USD is still the safe haven currency of the world - now how ironic is that?

The US$ is rallying because the United States is the most powerful country in the world with the most aircraft carriers and the biggest nuclear arsenal.
