Default Discount Online Broker in US

    Hi,
I am gearing up for trading in the US market. I am in a process of deciding which online broker I should use. My slection criteria are as follows:
    1. Commission
    2. Fast execution
    3. Outage of the web platform
    4. Hidden Fees
    5. After Hours Trading

Can we have a discussion about your experience?

    Many thanks

Schwab are best for research and contact.
Great platform, very fast. After Hours is not so good...However the fees are high on the international rate.

hey im about to cash in on my 2 american stocks, netting about 4k USD, and im just gonna do trading with them

currently national bank fees are $100 round trip

any one else trades on the american markets, that uses cheaper commission.

    regards in advance

Best option if you are going to trade is to set up an account in the US. I use etrade, at US$9.99 a trade. Trading platform is excellent. I'm using power etrade pro, which requires 30 trades a quarter.
Cybertrader also seems to be well regarded. Trial available.

I use e*Trade as well. They have been very efficient.
