    Always admire Briscoes fifer having reports out so quickly

    Most take the full 2 months they have …but not Briscoes

    Sign of an efficient well run business who are always on top of things …..and shows in their results

    The directors of Briscoe Group Limited (NZX/ASX code: BGP) announce that unaudited sales for the first trading quarter ended 28 April 2024 (91 days) were $183.0 million, being 1.03% higher than the $181.2 million achieved for the same quarter of last year.
    First quarter sales for the Group’s homeware segment decreased by 1.09% to $108.7 million, while sporting goods sales increased by 4.28% to $74.3 million.

    a drop in real terms (inflation adj) but yes super solid result in current climate

    All the gloom and despondency in the media about how stuffed retail is has caught up with Briscoes

    Share price collapsing .....down close to 4 bucks ...was 4.50 odd a week ago when good quarter sales announced
