    From Autotalk.
Despite the challenges of fewer selling days due to public holidays and school breaks, the surge in registrations of imported used passenger vehicles by 10% in April 2024, reaching 8731 units, is a significant trend to note.

This figure marks a notable increase from the 7939 units registered in April 2023.
    Positive for TRA and 2CC.

The way Turners trade I would expect they are still gaining market share.

I thought most of Turners sales were drawn from NZ stock....not imported ?

I haven't returned to this stock following divesting in conjunction with the index inclusion. Still watching to try to understand an appropriate price point.

Agree with the post (#8393) on the previous page that the yield displayed (by Jarden anyway) is overstated for reason outlined.

Hence why I can see a bounce coming at some stage. I feel people are starting to undervalue TRA.

A bigger local dealership has closed down in the Bay. The times are tough and a local guy who manages a dealership already said 2024 was going to be a tough year for all people in car sales. In these sorts of moments Turners can benefit, as most cars left behind may go through them.
