    Sale of Storm business, good move, prune off the dead wood. What a contrast to certain other NZ retailers who love storing dead wood.

    Agreed. Reviewing last year's annual report it is clear they have been struggling with Storm for a while now. Concentrate on what is positive and eliminate the negative. As you say mate, its a heathy thing to prune the dead wood.

    Agree. Focus on Hallensteins and Glassons in NZ and Australia. They will get a little bit of cash from this sale, I think book value is about $2m. May be just enough to support a 23-25c divie coming up !!

    Dead Ducks waste a lot of directors/management's time and energy.
    Yes prune off the dead wood, and concentrate on the winning outlets.

    Bought some at 460 as well, figure with the minimum 15c dividend to come its good buying.
