I suppose the inflatable dolphin gets used as a life jacket if someone falls drunk into that open sewer that runs through Christchurch. I think its a great idea myself you cant be to carefull in the back blocks.

Yes Macca - many a night I've been spooning with my inflatable dolphin on the banks of the Avon after an evening on the town, and have been saved from certain death after rolling in.

I think they should be compulsory, and who knows - in this PC world - maybe one day they will be.

I wont be able to make to the ChCh meeting Shrewdy - I'm saving my money to go to the Auckland meeting and throw tomatoes at MacDaddy.

Just kidding - I'll be there!

And you're right - the Auckland meeting only got started because we loaned them a few of our members to kickstart them.

so oil/gas is well represented already.

And also we'd like to see a few more new faces along this time. Anyone that's not sure about what goes on please PM me if you'd rather and I can answer any questions you may have.
We're meeting at the Dux this time, which is quite a bit bigger, so I can also give you my cellphone number to make sure that you can find us on the day. Or I can take along another inflattable dolphin if that makes us easier to identify? I've got heaps of them (dont ask).

I did say i'd do my best to make a CHCH event, but alas i'm off work for the next month, still undergoing rehab on my back & ankle

IT has now become obvious that two chch rep attendees have stirred up some success over there in A town... numbers dont mean jack rabbit....
quality not quantity mate......no disrespect to auck landingers...

Lets face it the last Auckland meeting had some heavy hitters even without my other two amigos from Christchurch.

There will be much debate on Sat night,you can count on that, and I bet the main topic will be NZO ??? I will be talking to Bermuda about his beloved VPE

Too bad my fellow oil gypsy cant be there.......... unfortunately when you get the call/money calls you gotta go.
