Inflation is still winning in all key areas not just asset prices now but food, rent, electricity etc. deflation in non-essentials might continue if too much discretionary spending for younger generations is diverted to pay the mortgage and grocery bill and fund superannuation for themselves and an older generation that hasn't put anything aside to cover their generous nz super annuation scheme.
