Default Advice needed on Brisbane property

Looking to buy a house on the North side within walking distance of the CBD, for example Kelvin Grove or Windsor or ?

    What I've heard:

It's a buyers market and possible to buy cheaper today than 6 months ago

    Investors selling

Rents could rise 17% in next 18 months

Employment up, better than rest of Australia

Interest rates may just about have peaked?

I'm interested to hear opinions on Brisbane house prices going forward. When could be a good time to buy?

    Thanks in advance

Windsor is a long walk to the CBD.

Big changes to the northside will be happening soon, and you'll need to include these in any decisions you make.....Northern Busway, Airportlink, cross city tunnel etc. Major impact will be on the Lutwyche Rd corridor.

I'll try and send you some links tonight or over the weekend.

    PM me if I forget.

Nothing beats sending the Hurricanes packing with their tails between their legs, then on Monday one reads about their over sensitive cardy wearing PSIS card bearing supporters whinging about how they reckoned they got a hard time from the Red N Black fans. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Will be back at AMI for the next crusade. Have to say the Crusaders got a huge turnout at Suncorp - almost like a home game - a few more would be good.

    Cantab

I sent you a PM last night with a link that covers both Airport Link and the Northern Busway, as well as a couple of points to consider.

    Did you receive it?

PS...If you've got deep pockets, consider New Farm, as there is a walkway along the river all the way into the city, as well as a City Cat (fast catamaran) sevice.....lots of good restraunts as well.

Spring Hill is within walking distance of the CBD. Houses are very expensive and house blocks are very small (by Queensland standards)
