That reminds me, a certain high-profile financial adviser was recently slagging off share forums as a source of information, noting that they were managed by lads without wisdom...

Had to laugh. Perhaps he'd been reading ShareTrader and taking some of the Vince jokes at face value? Even more amusing when I heard the owner of ShareTrader being interviewed as a source of wisdom on Radio NZ...

It is exactly where the Sandbar was. Monteith are building quite a few really pleasant small taverns. Another is in Khandallah where the Cock and Whistle used to be.

Im in and back from 4 weeks in the tropics. Shas i will give you a ride if we end up heading up the coast but i would prefer town.

I don't mind having the meeting up the coast, if thats what the majority are happy with?

If the numbers are for in the city, then the city it shall be...

Joey, i like your idea we just need the numbers to support it!

Can all those likely to attend please post your preferences.

1. Up the coast (Joey's suggestion)
2. Wellington Central (venue to be advised)
3. Flexible, & will go where the numbers dictate...

I'm for Joey's suggestion in Mana/Plimmerton. Odds on chance I can persuade Mothership to join us if it's there. Hope it works okay for Oiler though, if he's still planning go beam in.
