Don't own any airline shares at the moment, sold them. You guys have missed out big time over the last few months, I just work for them.
But being a contrarian I'll buy back over the next few weeks.
The airline industry's great fun, not all plain sailing but that's life, I've had a life most people can only dream about, made some money too!

Good move Skol, u must be worried with oil above $80 a barrel, we all know airlines will again crash and burn when it gets to $A100.
Crash and burn, airlines will be dinosaurs, we are into a new world order

Not worried, just trading, POO will drop as will all commodities over the next few weeks.
Just on TV, the drama going on in Europe. The EU says present situation is "unsustainable" which goes to show how much the world relies on air transport.
Maybe you ought to buy some gold shares tricha.

I like VBA the most, been in and out several times, but I will certainly be watching QAN. Bit more leverage with VBA, but I'd tend to wait a few days.
The price of oil and jet fuel will fall as well, so good for the carriers.
QAN will be more adversely affected so could take a bigger hit and provide a better buying opportunity, but overall airlines are doing well.
Don't forget AIR, exceptionally well run Co., I just prefer ASX shares.
Load factors have been exceptional for some time but harder to get a grip on the yield.
Volcanos don't last.

POO will be heading south for a while tricha, so keep your fingers crossed for those BPT shares.
Is there an airport in Mapua? Airports do miracles for the local economy, maybe your mates the Cubans can land at the Socialist Republic of Mapua with their vintage Antonovs and Tupolevs, but given the Cuban air safety record you'll need a large fire brigade.
Transition Town hoedowns at Mapua-what a blast!
