I love the way you said that....

I reckon it was more like:

Ponting: Well, that's freakin' lovely, those bleedin' Black Caps accuse my guys of cheating, then you tell me I was draggin' the chain, then you flog 20% of my match earnings!!!! Well you can stick the rest of the series up ya fundamental orifice!!!

Am loving the Aussie reaction to the Haddin/Vettori episode.

The Aussies are saying Vettori accused Haddin of cheating. Vettori's comments were actually very circumspect - the closest he came to insinuating something is suggesting Haddin `knew something was wrong' with the dismissal. It was Ponting who then took it a step further and said Vettori called Haddin a cheat.

If the baggy green cap fits...

Even the Aussie media is conceding the Kiwis are right on this one... Probably more reflective of the Aussie cricketers being generally offside with the Australian public. As we know everyone loves a winner. But it's a double-edged coin, n'est pas?

Only chasing 226 on a big field...

Great bowling by the whole Black caps outfit, has to make them favourites from here?

Also, results from the IPL auction

Jessie Ryder was picked up for $US160,000 by Bangalore
Kyle Mills was picked up for $US150,000 by Mumbai
    James Franklin wasn't picked up...

They join, Fleming, Oram, Taylor & Vettori who are already in the IPL.

Very good effort by the BC's. Won't count chickens before the eggs hatch kind of thing but they are in a great position to go up 2 zip - pity AOE couldn't do the same - win 2 days in a row. Not that it matters, great effort from them on the reserves front and any SP decline just presents buying opportunity.

    Go the BC's

Personally I would have picked up Franklin before Ryder but never mind. Go the BC's get the cheating buggers. 50 for 1. Worried about Guptill, is he another Sinclair who has 1 good innings followed by a huge number of failures bring his average to well below 20 before we finally drop him and search for the next big thing.

Franklin was only bidding at $US50,000 - surely a useful backup for when the main players are on international duty?

His age & history of injuries obviously count against him.

Looks like if we are to win McCullum & Taylor have to do it.

I can't believe Grant Elliot is batting at #5!

I dont think Franklin is worth 50K, remember in India there will be no pubs and temptation for Ryder.

    Awesome & i mean "O" for Orsum

    Eat it you dingo's...

The #4 ODI side has creamed the #2 two straight...

Wait til NZ brings in Nathan McCullum, another hard hitter & off spinner...

Bring on the Indians, they hate the green seaming NZ wickets

How ****y are the Aussie commentators to give the man of the match to pup.

He's a proven chocker & can't lead to save himself.

Grant Elliot deserved it for a great performance...

I bet Jessie Ryder smiled when Clarke went out for 98 for the 2nd time v NZ this year!

History lesson for all cricket fans

There have been 13 Chappell/Hadlee matches since the inception...

NZ has now won 7 (lost 5) & 1 No result...

Whilst the Aussies continue to ignore this series we will keep winning, even with a below par team...

    Hey shasta,
    Pretty good win tonight...
Im not a fan of Grant Elliot even though he did well tonight...
Broom was in my high school maths class... At that time he was expected to have a big future, and I barely saw him in class all year...
good to have solid wins against Auz.... my aussie friends dont have much to say anymore...
    hehehe...
    peace...

Its a bit like the State of Origon where NSW took Queensland too lightly in its early inception. Even a bit like the Ryper Cup you could say, now the europeans have more than their fair share over the past decade.

As a NSW supporter we have NEVER taken Queensland lightly.

The Aussie cricket team owes the black caps a bit of repsect

Give him time to settle, he followed up his century with a 43, hardly a failure. Lets not build another guy up and watch him fall.

Any relation to Brendon? hard hitting may be in their blood.
2-0 down gonna be hard for the Aussies to come back from here, I've never wanted to win a series more.

Another exciting installment to start this evening!! Who would have thought NZ would have a chance to win the series in the 3rd game!!

And to wake up this morning to hear England was bowled over for 51 runs to give West Indies an innings win was a surprise!!

    Nathan is Brendon's older brother
