New shares were issued to pay for Rip Curl so I would have expected there should be a higher MC
I reckon -
Market cap 16/2/20 pre-covid and capital raise $1.1 billion (295m shares)
Current market cap $1.1 billion (709m shares)
Enterprise Value a bit lower still

Xavier said at half year - “During the second half, we are focused on the strong execution of Kathmandu’s winter season in Australasia.”
Seems pretty warm at moment ....wonder how ‘winter’ going for Kathmandu.
Wouldn’t want things to turn sour now that things are all heading the right direction.
Wonder if a link between Kathmandu sales and hydro electricity generation?
Got 20 buck voucher as birthday present. Nice top arrived by courier yesterday. Now only need to spend another 30 bucks to get another ‘reward’

I have a belief that consumers probably underspent this last winter at KMD so they will make up for it this year. We could venture out within our own country last year but many chose not to do that and now the aussies will be back as well. This winter is expected to be below average rainfall for nz which may also keep overnight temps down if clear skies. And tourists prefer dry weather, it could add up to a bumper year. Besides KMD are more than just winter season goods so they will pick up northern hemisphere summer too imo

Another big test for KMD today at 1.6, the volumes look quite nice. Look like it will pass 1.6 this week which is faster than I expected. Lets go 1.7! Under my estimation it will be there around end of Jun 2021 or earlier.

Hit and pass (or closed at) a price are totally different in technical term. First hit at 1.6 I sold, but this time after one week accumulated, even though it is not really strong enough but if it closed above 1.6. I will hold and hold it hard because "The Big Boy" won't let it drop under 1.6 anymore.
