    Default TA and FA books

    as title stated,

could anyone give me one or two book names on TA and the same for FA?

I felt quite empty just looking at the charts asb securities provided.

No happy with a 5% return over a month either!

So guess need to study more for more return I guess.

    thanks in advance

Recommended TA text "Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets" by John Murphy. ISBN 0-7352-0066-1 $140. This 540 page book covers most of the major facets of technical analysis, making it a good introductory text. It is one of the three books required for the American Chartered Market Technician Program. (The other two are "Technical Analysis of Stock Trends" by Edwards and Magee, and "Technical Analysis Explained" by Martin Pring.)

Not happy with 5%/month? You realise that IF you could keep that up and compounded your gains you would be making 80% pa? Warren Buffett became one of the richest men in the world by making less than 26% pa. It takes him 3 years to double his money - you would be doing it every 14 months.
