That's said to be important for ASX midcaps - esp with very sound fundamentals and value like PGC - to come within the buying criteria of the main LICs.

I agree, the sort of company that EBO might have run the ruler over. I wonder if they ever did - and if so, why it escaped their net?

Maybe not big enough for EBO .....or not prepared to pay the asking price

Although revenue had increased eps had not, as there a lot of new shares,from acquisitions payments and a capital raise.

I doubt there is a business in Australasia, in their field, EBO has not run their ruler over.
As W69 pointed out most probably too small for them.
Been awhile since EBO did a big acquisition.Maybe another one soon.?

So its really important they deliver the touted 20% increase in eps (proforma) in FY19 plus the 10% from the latest announced acquisition ..or else the market might pack another sad
