    I did it a few years ago, it is brutal but its fantastic country to be in and if you pace yourself and eat and drink properly you will be fine. The worst bit for me was the drive in around Skippers Canyon and having to walk over the bridge they bungy jump off to get to the start line! I am terrified of heights! Good on you!!
