They at least make a profit

Wouldn't be so bad if they didn't keep on raving on how great they are and that profits will continue to grow and grow.......and the market seems to fall for that crap.

Sold my Methven shares for $1.29 this week and thus have no financial interest in them any more.

So the result does not look too flash on the surface and the prognosis for full year is definitely not that flash.

Hopefully things will be 'flasher' next year.

Haven't owned any of these for a couple of years, bit like back to the future aye. Shame because anyone who likes quality uses their products, put a MVN tap in a retirement village and it's the last one you will install, not like most other crap brands they install and have to change them out every few years because they can't handle the heavy usage.

Three SSH all sell down prior to downgrade announcement. So much for FMA insider trading action. Reminds me of Hogan's Heros and Sargeant Schultz "I know nothing, nothing". FMA should be renamed Kolonel Klink.

Yesterday's announcement doesn't tell the full story

They say they haven't recovered enough from a bad 1st half to meet guidance - on the face of it it appears they have made less in H2 than last year. That's going backwards - declining profits

And doesn't this 15% less profit in constant currency terms mean reported profits will be down even more?

Maybe too embarrassing to say whats really happening

I reckon FY eps will be about 8 cents - so at PE of 10 gives share price of 80 cents

But they'll jack the divie up to 7 cents which will support a share price of 100

But then again the future looks bright
