While we are waiting on Amcom progress, VOC has taken a re 14.5% stake in Macquarie Telecom for re $15.6 million (in shares i think). MAQ has been a dog with two highly overpaid brothers responsible for that. A strategic stake and storage banking as MAQ has a whole lot of the latest tech highly underused storage cabinets

Amcom shareholders have created history by voting en mass in favour of the merger with VOC; the first time a scheme of arrangement vote has succeeded in the face of such a large blocking state

I'm a long-time happy holder of M2, which I've seen as quite undervalued recently. They have a great track record of integrating acquisitions, but this is obviously a totally different kettle of companies... They're up 13% today following announcement but still well off highs. I'd love to know what those of you with better understanding of the telecoms market across the ditch make of the merits of owning the new entity.

SLC offers some excitement and SDA has done well since the Feb results although quite fully priced at present. Holding both but have paired back the SDA holding a fair bit around current levels
