I got a pretty good price for 3 head of cattle I sent off 3 weeks ago. Market is firming and that is good to see. The schedule is up, but the sheeps have a way to go.
There seems to be a little more support building here with quite a few trades in the last week and SP up 8.3%. I think we can safely say we are now into the recovery phase, heading towards resumption of dividends, hopefully next year.
Pine trees aren't the answer, but can't blame sheep farmers especially when meat markets are down, wool is cost not a revenue stream, are asset rich/cash poor and someone waves a big cheque at them!
