It can be easily operated by remote control and it has computerized stability... If you were on top of a burning building and one was flown up to you by remote control I am fairly certain you'd go with it.

Or would you just stay and burn or jump and die? LOL

Robbo. You may not realize it but martin are very good at rolling out the same old information year in year out but never actually get to market.

Go back to June 2011 and you will see a virtually identical press release. Back then they had EOI's for 6000 machines and first shipment due in December 2012.

It doesn't bode well if the ducted fan pack
over promises and under delivers like this company does.

Let's not get too excited. Total payload is 100 kg. That might be ok for a skinny white boy but you put a 150 kg Pacific islander on it and see what happens. If it's going to be capable of saving people it can't be fatist.

Martin Aircraft has engaged in no active marketing to date but the level of demand from all corners of the globe has been considerable indicating that build capacity will need to be expanded. An unnamed Fire Service has indicated potential demand for 900 jetpacks to be deployed countrywide. Military departments are making enquiries with the possibilities of factoring the jetpack into their budgets in the coming years. A sub contractor to the US Coast Guard has requested a proposal for the Jetpack and simulator capability. The mining and resources sector has looked to Martin Jetpack as a possible solution to service inhospitable terrains in a cost effective way.

If they can sign a contract for 900, then they don't need to raise capital - a small discount for an advance for working capital and they will be fine.

THat is a pre-IPO capital raising so even if that goes ahead, still no guarantee the IPO will go ahead.

What is interesting is it is being done in Australia. Is that a sign the IPO, if there was one, would be on the ASX?

I'd be thinking along the lines of a dual listing
