Default Artermis Resources - ARV - Gold, Silver, REE

This one looks interesting. Being held down at the moment by a Paterson's capital raising which is to fund an extensive drilling campaign (5000 meters) at Mt Clement (currently underway).

@ 7c, Market cap is around $21 million after cap raise of 5mil

    Mt Clement Gold:

There has been a lot of drilling at Mt Clement (Newmont, BHP among others) during times of very low gold prices ($200/oz). ARV has found additional resource as well, and current drilling is expected to infill and extend this even further.

    ARV's 4 holes into high grade zone returned;
    ARMCRC001 - 6m @ 8.8g/t gold, 558g/t silver
    ARMCRC002 - 2m @ 3.22g/t gold
    ARMCRC007 - 20m @ 7.3g/t gold, 395g/t silver
    ARMCRC008 - 35m @ 2.9g/t gold, 119g/t silver

The high grade zone was successfully drilled over an area greater than 100m x 100m with gold, silver and copper mineralisation extending beyond the limits of drilling

    Attachment 2992

There is also potential for open cut mining of near surface mineralisation

    Yangibana REE project:

Dr. Anthony “Tony” Mariano, a world leading rare earth specialist has agreed to become a special advisor to
the Artemis Board. As a world‐recognized authority on carbonatites, alkaline rocks and rare earths, Dr.
Mariano provides Artemis with access to more than 50 years of experience in studying rare earth and rare
metal deposits. Tony has consulted to the United Nations, the United States Government, many of the world’s
rare earth explorers and developers including Molycorp and Neomaterials and has authored and co‐authored
many technical publications on rare earths.

After looking at the drilling samples he stated "the neodynium values contained in the rocks at Yangibana are the highest he has observed in any rocks"

Currently awaiting assays. Note that they haven't mentioned much of this as of late, so I'd be weary of ARV's REE potential (though some may disagree!)

    Yandal Gold Project:

    Historical drilling:

    24m @ 3.10g/t,
    8m @ 6.30g/t,
    5m @ 4.30g/t,
    16m @ 2.90g/t,
    17m @ 2.30g/t,
    3m @ 8.00g/t,
    16m @ 2.20g/t,
    2m @ 9.80g/t

Hi JBMurc, another option (and I did this yesterday) is to buy the exchange traded rights issue (ARVR - closes tomorrow).

They're trading at 2c, conversion is 5.5c PLUS you get 1/4 of an option for each right, so thats about 1c worth.

So it costs you 7.5c all up and the current worth is 7.6c + 1c=8.6c. Bonus!

    The two downsides are:

    - You won't get the shares until the rights issue is done and dusted, 5 Nov, so you're exposed to fluctuations in sp until then.

    - You have to work out what the go is re: conversion. I thought I'd get the rights and pay the conversion to the share registry, but it looks like ASB Securities has already done it for me by levying me the face value + conversion price all in one go.

yes had an order on the ARVOB at 3.5c don't have the time of the hassle with the ARVR even though it does look good have to pay 2.3c min opts are at 4c(or 1c free to arvr so your getting your arv for say 6.8c if you could sale opts at 4c)
    the ARV at 7.6c
think I've missed my chance to buy cheap just at the moment will watch closely for any pull-back on the opts or heads

    Hi folks,

ARV ... has had some good support recently, volumes up and
price ticking up steadily, now ..... looking at our astroanalysis,
we will be alert for a serious pullback, in the last week of
November 2010 ... from 25112010-03122010, just ahead of
another positive aspect, due around 06-07122010 ...

    have a great day

well I might well get them cheaper i like the GOLD,SILVER,REO mix of ARV that an the cash they will soon have to increase the drills to see how big a resource they have some of the drill results look very nice
Now going off the short term chart high 6's 6.7-6.9 for the ARV want do you think trackers support 7c & 6.5c the latter being the strongest

So how well are you looking to do out of the rights compared to me buying ARV at 6.9c
