They attempted a similar thing with with HGL (Hudson) a penny dreadful on the ASX. That fell over without much explanation.

Looks like they've found another bunny to stitch up...

Because they were once the cheapest share on the NZX, I once bought some. Out of sheer perversity.

I waited for years, and then Mister Dotcom came along, and I sold for a much higher price.

Over the time of the holding, it wasn't that crash-hot on an annual basis.

But sh*t it felt good to have a fifteen-bagger.

That's why people like me buy shares like that. I don't understand why people like you don't. Have you no sense of adventure? No sense of humour?

The way it works, Hector, is that whatever is cheapest on 1st April (a suitably auspicious date) gets bought. Sometimes it works (TRS, SVY/PIL), and sometimes it doesn't.

It will never make me rich, but it does keep me amused.

Hah...exactly..one of my few forays into trading for fun and excitement....made $15,000 in one day and I still remember the incredulous look on my partners face when I told her. Wont mention the other duds but was worth it for the euphoria. You can see how people get addicted to that big rush, whether its horses, casino or the other of the deadly sins LOL.
