US Brokers (e.g. E*TRADE)
Hey guys, really keen on investing in a few US tech companies such as AAPL.
Looks like E*TRADE has been mentioned on here a few times, I tried signing up but being from NZ it redirects me to the Singapore site and the fees are higher.
Would E*TRADE Singapore be the best way to go about it, or do you guys recommend something else?
Thanks a lot!

I use etrade and get charged US$10 per trade. The usual rate is $20, but if you make more than 20 or so per quarter they reduce the fee.

Thanks for your reply, did you have to sign up via the Singapore site? Oh and what method do you use to transfer cash - does it take long?
Cheers!

Singapore yes and sometimes they get the funds I send from ASB the same day
