interesting to see that mcds owns dynamic yeild outright, and its only generating $38 million.
And, prior to this is was doing several rounds of funding at not too disimilar levels of capital.

Looks like good news for Plexure. Their major customer is divesting of their competition because it didn't work very well in America, their biggest market. What are the chances Plexure will be given a shot in the US instead?

Like i said it could be good, it could be bad. If machine learned data driven redemption isnt working as much as it should in theory, then plexure could also be dumped. Place your bets!

For super Indo, Plexure were reporting a 55% increase in basket size for app users which I think would be a key metric. If that metric is true then we could expect that Plexure software is doing the job. Then of course we need to answer the next question which is why other retailers are not beating a path to Plexure’s door to sign up? The lack of new customers is a huge concern along with Winner’s concerns and Balance before him. It could be said that currently the odds are stacked against Plexure succeeding but maybe they will pull a rabbit out of the hat.
Disclosure - have some but sold 2/3rds for a good profit. Continually asking the question about what I should do with the remainder.

Herbie babbles on about recruiting heaps more staff and even though he says they are having trouble in hiring as many as he needs you would think that staff numbers are going up
In September they said they had 161 staff and contractors - the other day they said they had 153 (planned to have 190)
So last 6 months head count gone down by 8 - lets say they hired 20 new staff that means 28 staff left
Seems staff retention is a problem ...not just recruitment
Still can't envisage or have any idea what Herbie and 160 actually do -- if they do anything it doesn't seem to bring in much cash.

A year ago Herbison proudly declared - During the year, Plexure also added 13 new markets and customers.
This seemed toinclude the Indo thing they won in Feb/March last year
All that (full year impact) along with organic growth has seen sales increase a miserly 14% since
And the last six months has been wasted space - sales up $1,3m or 9% on the same six months last year
Something not right - these new customers have to be HUGE

I think its the underlying model isnt right (yet).
I was fascinated to see that dynamic yields turnover with The largest mcds markets is only $38 milion. How massive does these new customers have to be to turn the $10m forecasted loss around? And if they are that BIG , can the underlying model cope without costs blowing out?

efore the $39m cap raise Plexures Enterprise Value was about 215m
Today its EV is about 120m
That's what the market thinks of Plexure - even thoughthey 'surpassed market guidance'

Jeez the yachting is boring
Hope that Plexure having a mountain of cash doesn't lead them to complacency - and that future spending remains disciplined instead of a let's spend iit anything anyway mentality
Sometimes a lot of cash a big temptation
