    Suppose the TASK guys are assuming their 60 cent shares will be worth more when they allowed to quit them

    Could this be a way to get more qualified IT staff? The chairman said they were difficult to get, plus expensive in current market. Maybe easier to get through acquisitions

    It is probably a good way to spread the cost of supporting their clients rather than getting easier to acquire new talents.

    The family reason was probably a sincere one for him to leave.
    I guess it was not up to him to decide whether he would still be in his CEO seat in this deal anyway.

    Not at all - the CEO could have left because he disagreed with the negotiations taking place. Have seen it before.

    If you want a prime example, have a look at ATM when Jayne left for 'family' reasons.

    That is true as a statement in itself.

    But not true when companies use as a reason for CEOs leaving abruptly.
