Page 27 is really interesting. Mega new renewable energy projects "in the wind", pardon the pun. 6.5% gross yield + future growth gives just on 5% margin above 10 year Govt stock rate.
Looks like a sound hold to me.

Waipipi their 'grand new wind station' will be owned by Tilt renewables! Talk of 1,350GWh of new 'partnership projects' confirms what we all knew. Genesis are in no position to fund any new generation projects. Looks like they are on track to become a paper market middle man player, as their generation ambitions are squashed. Is this page 27 outlook an admission of defeat as they desperately squeeze whatever cash they can out of their legacy assets before they shut up shop? What were those Huntly remediation costs again? No need to budget for the ultimate remediation of the Kupe assets when that field closes. Genesis will be broke by then, so the government will cover it off.

They can sell Kupe and raise more debt very cheaply with a new bond issue. The results speak for themselves. Your nose has stopped working, off to the vet with you
