For me reliability and predictablity of dividend is more important and SP moving rather increase too much which u can't repeat .

With 17.6 now ...I am almost 9.5/10 sure next year will be 18 cents

Divie grown at 1.2% pa over the last five years and only 1.1% this year

So I'm 9.5/10 next year will be 17.8 cents

Agree with your calculations but u got my point ....Bond proxy ...Bank term deposit of 9% Gross !!! lol

Nothing odd ...they want to be reliable increasing dividend company ...they increased ...reliability is most important part of GNE dividend ...cant say the same about many other big payers like. FBU / HGH ...etc

Pretty muted closing to GNE results day ...maybe FPH soured the sentiment ...lets hope next week is better for both
