Hey Roger if HLG keeps going down will be looking as bad as GNE before long, PGW the better of your 2 recommendations methinks, I know how volatile retail can be being a KMD and WHS holder but I'm hearing you on Shipley and the smelter

Yield looks great and greater by the day although one should trust instinct regarding ex politicians being on boards it just ends in tears - Lombard and Team Talk 2 recent examples.

Doesnt seem to be having much impact if any on share price..... In this market anything is on the cards, I would have thought this was a positive for GNE but understand its complex

Nothing will have much impact on any shares price at the moment in a positive way due to Greece, Tiwai Point decision etc etc

My reading is that it was already idle and not in use so if anything, this will reduce costs as they no longer have to keep it maintained and ready to go. Therefore a positive.

the announcement says 'delivering further operational efficencies' which is the bit I like, cost cutting

interesting times with what impact greece will have and of course the tiwai outcome approaching

Customer satisfaction survey out this morning in the Herald, someone with more spare time this morning than me is sure to post a link. GNE scored dead last, not a good look and doesn't bode well for continued customer losses to competitors.
