    GNE divvy was paid out on Friday. I took shares in lieu of dividend at ~$2.77 which was a nice little bonus.
    I think I first invested here quite some years ago as a natural hedge against power bills but I've certainly got a lot further into this safe utility since then.
    I see the current price as a good hold for dividend income and a nice natural hedge against power bills for those that don't already own any.

    It is.......however 6th of May will be an absolute cracker for Percy.....and even Mrs Percy! He is definitely "well positioned" both with the dividend and his wife!!

    GNE share price defying all logic ..... never before (since listing) has there been such a small gap between divie yield and 5 Year Govt stock

    Conclusion - a real trap for those who have recently bought in or are contemplating seeking the seductive yield .... you might lose a lot of capital.

    But then again logic means nothing in these weird times .....or this time things are really different
