    Does one know Bull if meridian get better out of this deal than buying at a specified rate and being able to sell at spot to users. Is it as simple as assuming GNE are doing better out of this arrangement than selling to the spot market ?

    have to know the fine print terms of the swap option to know if it benefits either one or both but you would imagine it should be a prevailing prices

    Hard to think this would be at market as meridian could simply buy spot on market without the hassle of a forma agreement.

    From the meridian monthly announcements it appears they make money on aquired generation so wouldn’t be surprised if they pay a fixed rate for this generation.
