It would be unaffordable bad news if it cannot be announced today.

Without ASQA funding, I cannot foresee any outcome other than a terminal ending

    Exclamation I can hardly wait

So three announcements on the NZX so far:

1/ The announcement that there is to be a trading halt on the NZX and to wait for a further announcement.

2/ The announcement that there is to be a trading halt on the ASX and to wait for a further announcement.

3/ The announcement that announcement 2/ was not the announcement you were waiting for and to carry on waiting for the awaited announcement.

I just hope that it is not fatal. But fear it might be.

The longer it takes the worse i suspect the news to be.....

My hunch is sanctions from ASQA resulting in reforecast EBIT to potentially breach banking covenants - potential cap raise or something else??

    What does everyone else think?

I predict loss of $6m ASQA, leading to a likely breach of banking covenants = major restructuring/sell off or fold.

Looking at the numbers, can't see how banking covenants can be maintained on a reforecast

Well... you guys were on the money about the bankers part, and that it is already priced in (in my view)

Sadly, I don't believe that it is priced in. They were applying for a $6m VET extension. They were confident it would be granted but that's now dead in the water.

The risk was priced in, the eventuality was not, imo.
