Just my 2c and food for thought. Lost interest now.
It does feel more like a falling out with the companies higher up management and maybe they have other personal issues too, so they just decided it was enough and it was the right time to close that chapter of there life. If someone makes $100 million I think for some it is more than enough to consider it enough to take a step back and go and enjoy life. Using the whole idea of they could have stay for more comes from the idea of greed, but perhaps for a religious man they are contempt when they have enough.

    I think you mean "content"
Edit to ad. Not listing on NASDAQ a disappointment but they say they have liquidity and capital so reason for listing now no longer exists. <maybe - but I still think it would have enhanced liquidity.

I wonder just how much of an influence Crowther was in getting into the Faith sector. I assume pretty influential. Gien that I wonder now that having achieved over 50% of church targets this might actually have bene a handbrake. Freed of the "religious" influence PPH can perhaps now embark more freely into broader commercialisation of product.

An announcement today would signal strong interest in book build and thus support price. Announcement tomorrow not so much.

Not the ATM roller coaster but in for an interesting day all the same.

    Disc. I'm not panicking.

It will be interesting to see which institutions buy his 9% and what effect this extra free float will have on SP and index positions. Happy for it to stay listed on NZX and ASX only.
    Happy holder.
Good on him indeed. Listing a company to free up some of one's capital is actually one of the reasons for being on the share market.

Time will tell however if it's a vase of :

    1. Others following suit and he has simply beaten them to the punch,

    2. The sell down is ahead of another capital raise, and

    3. The company meets its forecasts and potential, after failing to do so in the last 2 years.

Always be aware and be cynical - seen too many selldown of shares for 'personal' reasons which proved to be just a convenient excuse to get out ahead of the pack, and before a company's shares tanked.

Best example - Charles Bidwell of Ceramco selling out because he had an ear problem and had to retire because of it as he could not travel anymore. He was a class 'A' scumbag as it emerged later.

A little birdie tells me that the process of divorce can be very ugly. Ex partners inevitably simply want cash and as much of it as they feel they're entitled too and often plenty more.

Like others I was really interested in this on the basis of a NASDAQ listing. Now that's off the table...
I agree 100% with the general thrust of Balance's comment immediately above.

Is it just me or whenever I hear anything about American Mega Churches I do get a whiff of snake-oil.

They already are over 50% of large and medium churches on $70 mill annual rev. Not so realistic sounding to me, the above.
And if the above is correct , does that mean all the easy low hung fruit are picked and its harder to gain more % and why havn't they branched out into other areas, sectors. One trick pony maturing?

Yes I agree 100%...don't want to be too dogmatic again, lol, but I have been suggesting exactly that for quite some time.

Eh - reason for selling is that he wants to spend time with the family?
