You can't hide this in the company valuation, Im contimplating opening a short position on GM .
Eg: GM will offer over the air updates to there vehicles in a few "years"

TESLA'S been updating over the air online for over a decade now

There trying to catch up but keep falling further and further behind.

Market will likely correct itself 10 to 20% possibly the first half of the year/It's trying to price in the first fed rate increase.

    Prepare in advance

    Be margin free

    Raise cash

Be patient/dollar cost average in .

    Don't panic sell

A correction will be a new experience for new "shareies" investors

It's an exciting time to grow your wealth.

Quality companies with low debt high cash flow will be stable.

If you can't buy puts or short stocks/ try inverse stocks no longer for a day/ they can offer a small hedge if your portfolio is getting smashed.

BTW here is an extract about the conversion of its entire range to be available for both bat or ICE. Something TSLA cannot ever do.
Extract on EV and GM's range...."In 2021, GM accelerated its move toward a zero-emissions future with the introduction of the revolutionary Ultium platform, which has the power, range and flexibility to make almost every vehicle an EV. Led by the Cadillac LYRIQ, a wide spectrum of Ultium-based models across Cadillac, Buick and Chevrolet will be introduced to the Chinese market. To support the rapid product rollout, the first Ultium Center opened in Shanghai in October to assemble battery packs for locally built EVs."

While Elon is rearranging the deck chairs to account for his tax position by moving to Texas, the competitors have done in 2 years what it took Tsla 10 years. Why worry about competition? because there are 5 other GMs out there doing the same.

    GMs going bankrupt

Only the US taxpayer can save it from the history books.

    Dassets

You obviously have no idea how to run a company.

Tesla has debt of just over 2billion, they own more in Bitcoin than they have debt.

GMs debt had increased for the past decade, and there sales are declining,

TESLA'S sales are increasing, they managed to pay of Giga Shanghai debt off in less than 24 months.Tesla is more or less debt free, they can afford to finance more Gigga factories.

What do you think is going to happen to GM eventually

Check back in 2025/ I'll remember your post.

GMs going bankrupt, the shorts are starting to circle....

If TSLA share price falls because interest rates increase/ it's still an excellent company to invest in for further growth.

    You buy low sell high..

If you're a millennial, what do you expect happens when you go to the UK for 10 years and come back expecting house prices to be the same as you left/then start complaining about it/.if it's quality blue chip company/property and on sale... buy it.
Market will likely open in the red

    10y treasury hits a 2 year high of %1.83

My TSLA PT of $1400 assumes a 10y of 2%.
