However it works out, this I hope will be the best heavyweight fight of recent times, if not all time. I'm backing Joseph, patriotic, couldn't bring myself to consider any other option, even for a few bucks on short odds.

Im hoping Joe wins but Joshua has an extra 15cm reach thats a huge advantage.

Decent defence from Parker, but Joshua always in full control. Was fairy unspectacular but that probably a credit to Parker.
Decent showing but never really looked like being able to go on the offensive.

Every time it looked like a fight, when Joseph went in, the ref split them. As AJ said afterwards, it was won on boxing, there was no fight. AJ the better boxer, good showing from JP to hold him to 12 rounds but no room for some mongrel which JP needed to brawl inside AJ's reach.

Yeah that ref was doing my head in at one point joshua was moving back at a rate of knots with Joe chasing and ref stepped jump in front WTF

As with Tua v Lennox then, the winner of Joshua v Parker is HYPE. It will be used again to suck people in of their money comes rematch negotiations. MMA is the better show of such gladiator sport.

Another win by Parker but I don't think the USA audience would be convinced that he be given a really big match pretty soon.

Pacquio still got the punch and too much for a younger Thurman but he should be retiring. He's obviously slow now for 40 year old 8 division champion.
