Anyway...just like RA we have strayed along way from Rugby. This decision can't be allowed to stand if Australian employment law wants to keep at arms length from fascism. Who would have thought all those liberal, cuddly PC types were closet fascists? Looks like they have come out of the closet...every pun intended.
Alcoholics and their families actually experience a hell on earth.

A fine line has to be trod between protecting an employer’s commercial interests and the non-negotiable rights of employees (or independent contractors) as residents and citizens.

So we can agree Folau was being factual.

Wrong. Alcoholics and their non-alcohic families are experiencing their hells even before judgment by (Folau’s) God.

Just to remind you what Folau wrote "WARNING. Drunks........ HELL AWAITS YOU" Seems to me he was spot on. So factual. Then he offers a solution. "Repent" - which seems broadly consistent with AA's Serenity Prayer. Factual, Kind And Caring. Not the kind of bloke you would think RA would want to loose.

It is often said that living with depression is like living in hell. Homosexuals experience depression at 3 times the rate of the rest of the population ("Gay men are a subgroup vulnerable to depression and suicidality. The prevalence of depression among gay men is three times higher than the general adult population. Because depression is a known risk factor for suicide, gay men are also at high risk for suicidality. ") So once again he is being factual, offers a solution and is concerned.

Word on the street is that the Panel are currently trying to determine how much actual or potential harm RA has suffered.

To achieve this they have gone to the Homosexual community to ask who was harmed..

Apparently those that responded in the positive (so far) were then asked what harm was suffered.

Apparently the only consistent response was "we dont want to go to hell. It doesnt sound like a nice place"

Those respondents were then asked on what basis do they know that hell does in fact exist and in fact is not a nice place.

    Hence the delay

    News Update
The Panel have hired a CEO of a Pizza company as a Consultant to assist.

Apparently they have got some Victim Impact statements from people but havent figured out a way of getting them to the office.

The Pizza company has created a disruptive way of getting Pizza from Hell to a consumer - everyone is hopeful the same technology can be used to provide a solution.

In the meantime Warratahs lost - again

    And still no decision.

The Panel have my sympathy though. It must be really hard to contrive a termination decision while trying to make the punishment appear proportional to the offence. Especially when other benchmarks are in play. Like cheating ozzie cricketers get to keep their jobs.

Goode point mm, on that basis he has a right to complain of he loses his contract/is "fired", on their basis bringing the game into disrepute, I would have thought the Messers Warner and Smith did a worst job, and they are still playing

One would think cheating at the game should result in dismissal. Different employers however: It depend on the terms of their contracts, previous warnings and circumstances.

More incompetence fro RA coming out. Seems they got Folau to sign his contract. And the very next day thought "hmm maybe we should get him to agree to a Social Media" addendum. So they put this to him and he declined to agree.

And with obviously no clues on collective bargaining as they sought this addendum without going through the Player Union who negotiate the collective on players behalf

Also looks like the Panel have "case law" to refer to and ought to rely on. Kurtley Beale only got fined $45,000 for sending an offensive message referring to a staff member. And he was later spotted on a video several times with guys who appeared to be snorting coke.
