The share offer funds for came out of the account on the 20th and the fee was on the 23rd, unsure who actually received the $5.00 fee, Kiwibank or Linkmarketservices. I do not know as to why I was charged the fee, there was nothing on the form that mentioned a fee was applicable.

It for sure wasn't linkmarketservices charging you $5 for executing a direct debit. I guess - it's only 5 bucks - but still - if it would be me I would ask the bank what the fee was for. Banks make mistakes as well - and if not, than at least it helps you to better understand the fee structure of your account.

That, at least, is free with ASB.

Do we know how soon we are transferred our shares? No doubt it's on the paperwork, but I'm sure someone here has their finger on the pulse!
So only 68% of the entitlement shares were taken up? I thought it was a great offer...

Your new shares are allotted Thursday 2nd August and can be traded on NZX then (but Friday on ASX)

Yes, it was and it is an amazing offer. So good, that people who didn't take it still don't miss out. They auction the remaining shares and, if they get more than the $6.19 for it in the auction they will pay anything they get above to the shareholders who couldn't (or didn't) take on the offer.
Remember - not all shareholders have been entitled to this offer (e.g. most overseas shareholders), but they are still entitled to the financial benefits from it.
