If Taxcinda gets into power what's the bet she builds a whole lot of prefabricated cheap state housing all double glazed of course to keep the Greens happy.

A bit of cross-subsidisation across business units helps sometimes when getting a deal done

Default July building consents out ...

2533 is the number. Fits quite well into my model (predicting a record of more than 30k approvals in total for 2017), but will hardly put fire under the SP given that the monthly number is slightly below 2015 and 2016 (in both years July was unusual strong) as well as (very slightly) below June and July. I suppose that pre-election jitters this year didn't help.

So - I guess one more month to wait for the spring numbers ... and two more months to show the post election relieve ...
